The SUN Project (Stop & Use Non-Animal Methods) is an online educational programme by Medicine Without Cruelty, dedicated to transforming how science is taught—from classrooms to labs—by replacing outdated animal testing with cutting-edge, effective alternatives.
Through a series of online modules, we break down complex topics into accessible, engaging mini-courses designed for students, educators, and the public. Each video explores the science, ethics, and innovations behind non-animal methods—from understanding why animal testing fails to showcasing technologies such as organoids, organ-on-a-chip, AI and many more.
The SUN Project is about enlightening minds, empowering future scientists, and shaping a world where science works for both humans and animals.
