Introduction to Non-Animal Methods in Science: Level 3 Unit
A ready-to-teach unit that can fit any science-based diploma, whether it's health, medical or veterinary science. Mapped learning outcomes, assessment criteria and tutor guidance provided.
Module Aims
- Understand the fundamental reasons why animal testing in science is outdated, unecessary and how it can be stopped
- Learn the efficacy and applications of non-animal methods
- Understand how non-animal testing methods can be further developed to meet scientific challenges
Accreditation Status
This Level 3 unit and the broader college pathway are being co-developed with LASER Learning Awards. Unit specifications and any future rules of combination for a diploma will be finalised through LASER’s quality processes. All titles, credit values, and assessment methods remain subject to awarding-body approval.
